Mumbai, December 20, 2018: The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), is pleased to announce that Mehrnavaz Avari, General Manager of the iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur and Ashish Kumar Singh, General Manager of Ginger Noida have been bestowed with the General Manager of Year Award; in the Luxury to Upper Upscale and Economy to Budget segments respectively at the annual Hotelier India Awards.

Additionally, Jose Ralph D’Souza, Director of Engineering, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa won Green Hotelier of the Year; Milton Mascarenhas, Director of Revenue, Taj Santacruz and Ankur Malhotra, Revenue Manager, Vivanta Surajkund, NCR won Revenue Person of the Year; Manish Bhatnagar, Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur received the IT Person of the Year award; Ranju Bhattacharjee, Assistant Materials Manager, Vivanta Guwahati, Assam was awarded Procurement Manager of the Year; Ankita Vaish, Executive Housekeeper, The Gateway Resort - Damdama Lake, Gurgaon, won Housekeeper of the Year; Basant Bhatt, Assistant Hotel Manager, Ginger Noida 63 New was awarded Front Office Manager of the Year and Swati Drolia, PR Manager, Taj West End, Bengaluru was the Runner Up for PR Person of the Year.
