Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris announces new General Manager for Gateway Hotel Kolkata Kolkata, March 6, 2018: Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris announced the appointment of Sourav Ghosal as the General Manager of The Gateway Hotel EM Bypass, Kolkata. Sourav moves to the culturally rich city of Kolkata from the bustling hotel, Vivanta by Taj - President, Mumbai where he was the Resident Manager. Sourav’s journey with the Taj Group began in 2010 as a Food & Beverage Manager at the Taj Club House, Chennai. Having proved his mettle with sheer commitment, diligence and great performance, Sourav subsequently rose to the position of the Resident Manager of Vivanta by Taj - President, Mumbai. Prior to joining the Taj Group, Sourav has worked with other renowned hospitality brands in various capacities. “I am thrilled to take on this assignment as I am coming back home to Kolkata.
