IHCL Signs A Gateway In Agra, Uttar Pradesh
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) , India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of Gateway hotel in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This will be a greenfield project.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate and Development, IHCL, said, “Agra is an integral part of India's tourism landscape and one of the country's most iconic destinations. As a key stop on the Golden Triangle circuit alongside Delhi and Jaipur, the city continues to attract domestic and international travellers alike. Beyond tourism, Agra is evolving into a significant urban centre in Uttar Pradesh, supported by infrastructure development, new townships, and upcoming IT parks. Nestled within the Aravalli hills, the 122-key Gateway Alwar offers panoramic views of the lush landscape. The hotel features a range of dining options including an all-day diner, specialty restaurant and a bar. Guests can explore the wellness facilities including a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa. For weddings and social events, the hotel offers a banqueting space spanning over 9,000 sq. ft. and versatile meeting rooms.
Located along the Yamuna Expressway, the 232-key Gateway Agra will offer an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a bar. The hotel will feature wellness facilities including a gym and swimming pool. For meetings, weddings and social events, the hotel houses spacious banquet halls, a conference room and meeting rooms.

Agra, home to the iconic Taj Mahal, is one of India's most renowned tourism destinations and a key part of the Golden Triangle circuit comprising Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 64 hotels in Uttar Pradesh including 27 under development.
