IHCL Signs A Gateway Hotel In Siliguri, West Bengal
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Siliguri, West Bengal. This is a greenfield project.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Siliguri serves as the gateway to North Bengal, the Northeast and Bhutan. Its strategic location and growing economic activity continue to drive demand across business and leisure segments. The signing of Gateway Siliguri strengthens our presence in a high-potential market and is in line with our strategy of expanding in emerging growth centres across the country. Gateway Siliguri features 125 rooms and suites designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. The hotel’s culinary offerings include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant and a bar, providing guests with a range of dining experiences. Guests can enjoy their time at the swimming pool, the fully equipped gym or the spa. For large-scale events and celebrations, the hotel houses a banquet hall spanning over 10,000 sq. ft., along with meeting rooms and pre-function spaces.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 19 hotels in West Bengal, including 11 under development.
