Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, marked its entry into Ekta Nagar today with the launch of two hotels under Vivanta and Ginger brands. Commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, IHCL inaugurated the two hotels as part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025 celebrations.

Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “Today marks a momentous milestone for IHCL as we proudly unveil two new greenfield hotels in Ekta Nagar. He added, “Expanding its footprint with the two hotel openings, IHCL has a portfolio of 39 hotels in the state of Gujarat. Ginger Ekta Nagar marks the 75th operating hotel of the brand, making it the country’s largest single brand in the mid-scale hospitality segment.”

Vivanta Ekta Nagar is located just three kilometres from the iconic Statue of Unity, offering guests an experience that seamlessly blends contemporary design with the warmth of IHCL’s signature hospitality. Nestled amidst the scenic Satpura and Vindhya ranges, the hotel features 127 elegantly appointed rooms and suites with panoramic views. Guests can enjoy a selection of distinctive dining experiences, versatile venues for meetings and celebrations, and a range of wellness offerings including a spa, fitness centre, outdoor pool.
