IHCL Awarded Jamnalal Bajaj Award For Fair Business Practices

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has been awarded the 38th Jamnalal Bajaj Award 2025- 2026 For Fair Business Practices in the Service Enterprises-Large category.
Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO, IHCL, said, “At IHCL, governance and ethics are fundamental to how we conduct our business and create long‑term value. Anchored in Paathya, IHCL’s ESG+ framework, the company follows a comprehensive approach to corporate governance. The award acknowledges the brand’s long‑standing emphasis on governance frameworks and responsible enterprise practices, embedded across its operations and stakeholder engagements.
The Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP) was set up in late 1966 by a group of eminent businessmen, Mr. J.R.D. Tata, Mr. Ramkrishna Bajaj, Mr. Ashok Birla, Mr. Arvind Mafatlal, Mr. S. P. Godrej, Mr. Harish Mahindra, Mr. Naval Tata and others. CFBP seeks to create an environment where business confidence is built through best business practices and fostered in an atmosphere of trust and respect between businesses and consumers.
Constituted in 1989, these awards are judged on eight vital parameters, including customer satisfaction, employee motivation, environmental protection and corporate social responsibility, among others.
