IHCL EXPANDS PRESENCE IN UTTARAKHAND WITH THE SIGNING OF A GATEWAY HOTEL IN MUSSOORIE
Mumbai, April 8, 2025: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. This will be a conversion project.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Mussoorie is one of India’s most sought-after hill stations and its easy accessibility from key cities makes it an ideal getaway destination. With this signing we strengthen our presence in Uttarakhand, offering an itinerary of Haridwar, Dehradun and Mussoorie. We are delighted to partner with Mr. I.M. Garg, Mr. Gagan Garg and Mr. Gaurav Garg for this project.”
Strategically located near Picture Palace on Mall Road, the 92-key Gateway Mussoorie will offer panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a specialty restaurant showcasing regional flavors. Recreational facilities include a spa offering holistic wellness therapies, as well as a state-of-the-art gym. Additionally, the hotel will house a 4,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, catering to social events.

With this addition, IHCL will have 18 hotels in Uttarakhand with 6 under development.
